"Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them learn rather than teaching them" (Whitmore, J, 2004)
1. Follow-Up Coaching
Very often the tranfer of learning to the workplace after a training program is taken for granted. And that's perhaps why there are many dissatisfied clients. To assist participants to apply the concepts, principles, and skills acquired at the training program the coach assists in the transfer of learning.
2. Performance Coaching
Employees who are having difficulties with their work performance may need more than counselling or reprimands to change. Coaching activities here are aimed at enhancing an individual’s performance in their current role at work, to increase their effectiveness and productivity at work.
3. Executive Coaching
This is a one to one coaching for organisations and individuals to improve performance. The duration or number of coaching sessions are agreed beforehand with clear objectives.
4. Team Coaching
For leaders who have difficulty focusing on the process rather than the contents, will need an outside consultant to facilitate their team proceedings whether it is problem solving, decision making, identifying opportunities, etc. We would train a member of the team to facilitate after our period of engagement with the team.
Validated Coaching Model
For any of the above situations, a validated non-directive coaching model will be used to build a professional relationship with the view of taking the coachee to a new level.
